Damion Rieder – Answer Service Operator

Also known as operator number six. I have been working at Answer Page for just over three years. I am one of the graveyard shift operators.

I really like working for Answer Page. It’s our own small family here which is great, because I am very family oriented.

Since I was born and raised here, I have always had a great respect for the Rogue Valley and the people who live here.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to music and relaxing.

Community Rallies Around Rod & Custom Show

On the weekend of February 18 – 19, 2012, Rogue Valley Street Rods will present the 35th annual Southern Oregon Rod & Custom Show.
This charity event, held indoors at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, includes the custom car and motorcycle show, raffles, door prizes, vendor booths and much more entertainment throughout the weekend.

Members of Rogue Valley Street Rods plan all year, soliciting sponsorships and donations and determining every detail of the show which is gaining a regional reputation as an approachable, quality winter event for custom vehicle enthusiasts.

In addition to entertaining hobbyists and families alike, the Southern Oregon Rod & Custom show has raised over $470,000 for the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health & Science University. The center, which treats children battling cerebral palsy, Spina Bifida, craniofacial disorders and other genetic syndromes, uses a large portion of the funds raised by the Rod & Custom show to purchase wheelchairs, walking aids and other therapeutic devices for its young patients.

Your Smartphone Can “Give a Hoot” About Social Networking

You already know and love your Facebook and Twitter apps on your smartphone. You’re constantly checking and rechecking to see what’s going on, switching back and forth between your various social networking accounts. Did you know there are a number of phone apps that can consolidate where you need to be looking into just one place?

Hoot Suite and Tweet Deck are two free applications that have both PC and mobile interfaces. From either Tweet Deck or Hoot Suite, you can keep an eye on all of your social networking accounts. You can even schedule posts for one or more of your social interfaces and you won’t have to switch back and forth between Facebook, Twitter, etc. These tools are fantastic, especially for professionals monitoring company Facebook or Twitter pages who need to know as soon as a client posts a question in order to respond.

4G Speeding its Way Into U.S. Cellular & Answer Page

What’s the most exciting thing for U.S. Cellular and Answer Page as we start into the holiday season? 4G speed. You read that right. Before 2012 rolls around, 4G-capable phones will be available right here at our store. Both the Motorola Electrify and the HTC Desire 2 will be at the top of many holiday lists. Their front-facing cameras add even more appeal to their 4G packages.
